2. Give Yourself A Tax Break Before It Is Too Late. Before the end of the year, consider

3. Recycling During The Holidays: Follow These Rules….
Recycle These
Clear and green plastic egg cartons
Aluminum cans
Food-waste-free aluminum foil
Magazine inserts & slicks, phone books, newspapers
Cereal boxes with inserts removed
Pizza boxes (portion NOT stained with grease
Cardboard boxes (flattened not cut up unless very large)
Paint can – empty, lid off, paint dry
Electronics, cable, remotes
Christmas card envelopes
Used oil, Car/Truck batteries (Take to auto parts store)
“A’,”AA”, “AAA”, “C”, “D” etc, alkaline batteries to Batteries and Bulb stores, Home Depot and Lowes
Nickle metal hydride, Lithium ion (call municipality for haz waste pick up)
Assorted glass jars (clean) – take to MRF
Rinsed, food-free steel and aluminum cans
Live tinsel-free Christmas trees
Plastic grocery bags – return to grocery store
Detergent, laundry bottles\
Used/waste automotive tires
DO NOT RECYCLE
Pulp and styrofoam egg cartons
Soluble fats, oils, grease Wipe with a paper towel and toss towel into your trash
Metallic Christmas Wrapping paper
Chemical Solvents (Call your municipal government for disposal)
Cereal box inserts
Grease-stained pizza boxes-usually the bottom half
Cardboard boxes stained with anything
Spray paint containers (empty)
Lead-acid batteries Take back to auto parts store
Used paper towels, kleenex tissues
Yogurt & most soft margins containers (check the number the bottom)
Christmas cards
Any food-contaminated plastic containers
Live Christmas trees with tinsel attached (Large trash pickup)
Artificial Christmas trees
Bubble wrap envelopes
Old gasoline (best to burn in your lawn mower)
Lawn clippings, shrubbery trimmings (in tied bags)
* See your municipality for specific rules for recycling
